DESCRIPTION:This year’s Holocaust Education Week will feature a cattle car exhibit beside the canon on Branion Plaza all week and a talk by a Holocaust survivor in the UC’s Peter Clark Hall on Nov. 5. The week concludes with an open Shabbat dinner on Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Eccles Centre. Everyone is welcome. \nCattle Car Exhibit \nInteractive exhibit on cattle cars used to transport Jews and other victims of Nazi persecution to concentration camps during World War II. \nDate: Tuesday\, Nov. 3 – Thursday\, Nov. 5\nTimes: 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 pm. (Tues.\, Wed.); 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Thurs.)\nLocation: Branion Plaza \nHolocaust Survivor Speaker – Hedy Brohm \nHedy will share her inspirational story of survival and impart the universal message of tolerance towards every human being. DESCRIPTION:Student Financial Services\, Registrarial Services\, is hosting a Financial Literacy Fair on Nov. 2 and 3. \nThe fair will include representatives from: \n•        Financial Consumer Agency of Canada\,\n•        Canada Revenue Agency\,\n•        Ontario Ministry of Training\, Colleges and Universities (OSAP)\,\n•        National Student Loan Service Centre\,\n•        Credit Canada\,\n•        Western Union – Global Pay (used for international payments)\,\n•        U of G Wellness Centre\, and\n•        U of G Student Financial Services. \nThis is an opportunity to raise financial awareness\, learn new skills and ask questions about: \n•        U of G student billing\, student account management and refunds;\n•        scholarships\, bursaries\, work study and Undergraduate Research Assistantship Program;\n•        personal well-being;\n•        Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP);\n•        government student aid programs\, out of province and the U.S. loan program;\n•        repayment of government student loans and repayment assistance;\n•        choosing the right credit card and understanding your rights and responsibilities;\n•        managing debt and learning about credit reports and ratings;\n•        budgeting skills;\n•        filing your personal tax returns and tax advice;\n•        protecting yourself from fraud. \nThere will be handouts\, popcorn\, candy floss\, games and prizes!
