SUMMARY:Tree Dedication to Memorialize Students
DESCRIPTION:The Central Student Association (CSA) and the Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) is holding a special Student Memorial Tree Dedication Friday\, Sept. 25\, in honour of five U of G students who passed away during the last academic year. The ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. at the Arboretum Centre. \nA Katsura tree located in the Arboretum’s “World of Trees” collection will be dedicated in memory of Cole Hamblin\, Haider Almayahi\, David Rutherford\, Emel Aslan Con\, and Craig Morneau. By dedicating a tree in the Arboretum\, the goal is to create a special place to remember these students. \nFamily members\, friends\, classmates and professors of the students are invited to attend.
