DESCRIPTION:The Landscape Architecture program in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development presents a guest lecture entitled “Cartooning the Landscape” by Chip Sullivan\, FASLA\, FCELA\, FAAR. \nChip is a Professor Emeritus of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at the College of Environmental Design\, UC Berkeley. He is an artist\, landscape architect and spiritual alchemist. He is the author of many popular titles in the discipline including the most recent Field Sketching for Environmental Designers\, named one of the top 10 books by ASLA’s the Dirt. His site-specific installations and artwork have been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States\, United Kingdom\, Canada and Italy. \nAll are welcome to attend the lecture.
