DESCRIPTION:Join your colleagues on Friday\, March 3rd\, 2023\, as we show appreciation for University of Guelph employees with a day of connection and energy. Appreciation is about acknowledging a person’s inherent value – as a colleague and a human being. \nThis year\, GREAT at U of G has organized various events designed to enhance the culture of appreciation for all faculty and staff at the university. Whether you work during the day or night\, on campus or remotely\, we hope you find something to enjoy. Although Employee Appreciation Day is only a single day of the year\, we invite you to take this opportunity to connect with your colleagues and remind them that they are appreciated. \nTake your break with a Coffee Social at Brass Taps open from 10 am. Spin the prize wheel for your chance to win some Gryphon swag! Then\, visit the UC Courtyard for a joyous noon hour concert with one of the true up-and-comers in Canadian Indie music – I\, The Mountain! The concert will be streamed live for folks away from campus. \nIf you work the night shift\, join your colleagues from Thursday Night to Friday morning at the Brass Taps Social for Night Shift Employees. From 12:30 am – 1:00 am\, take some time to connect\, enjoy some catering\, and spin the prize wheel! Then join us for 30 minutes of trivia with our Lookout Trivia Host\, Nolan!
