DESCRIPTION:Help us plant over 600 trees and build a greener campus. \nBe part of a massive tree planting event to help reduce the carbon footprint of the construction of the new Lang Plaza outside of Macdonald Hall. The trees will be planted across from Lang Way\, beside Lambton Hall. \nThis event is open to all members of the University of Guelph community! \nFree snacks and drinks are provided. No tree planting experience required. \nSponsored by the Lang School and the U of G’s Sustainability Office. \nPartially funded by Trees for Heroes and Natural Resources Canada \nSept.  29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Participants are requested to sign up for two-hour windows. COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed.
