DESCRIPTION:Join the Art Gallery of Guelph and learn how to make a floral keychain with curator and beadwork artist\, Erin Szikora (Cayuga/Scottish/Hungarian). In this 3-hour adult workshop\, participants will discuss the history of Haudenosaunee beadwork\, learn the basics of one-needle flat stitch beading\, and create a floral keychain using size 11 seed beads\, felt\, and stainless-steel elements. Basic sewing skills are recommended\, but not required. The registration fee is $65 and includes a kit with all the supplies required to complete the keychain that can be picked up in Guelph\, Hamilton or Toronto.
