DESCRIPTION:– This event has been cancelled –  \nWe would like to thank all the individuals who submitted proposals and registered for the meeting. To the larger community\, we look forward to connecting with you soon as we explore ways to bring the rich learning of TLI to you. \n– The 2020 TLI Planning Committee – \nLearning in higher education continues to evolve beyond traditional didactic teaching to include a wide range of pedagogical methods that engages learners in their own learning. Collaborative learning is a learner-centred approach that involves two or more learners working together in an active task. Collaborative learning is predicated on the following assumptions of learning: \n\nLearning is an active\, constructive process\nLearning depends on rich contexts\nLearners bring diverse perspectives and abilities\nLeaning is inherently social\n\nCollaborative learning is complex and goes beyond group-work. It promotes learning together in a constructionist manner\, involving students in the creation of content through investigation and discussion\, in an iterative framework.
