SUMMARY:ONLINE: CESI's Research Shop - Enhancing Community Capacity for Evidence-Informed Action
DESCRIPTION:In this webinar hosted by Research Impact Canada\, Community Engaged Scholarship Institute staff will introduce participants to the Research Shop and the features that make it an effective – and recognized – model of integrated knowledge mobilization. We will offer an overview of its structure and operation\, reflect on its impact over the past decade\, and raise some of the key questions that guide and challenge us as we move forward. \nOver the past 10 years\, CESI’s Research Shop has provided responsive research to local and regional community organizations. This program\, one of the first of its kind in Canada\, builds partnerships between student researchers and community stakeholders to increase the impact of research and enhance community capacity for evidence-informed action.
