DESCRIPTION:Arabian Night 2019 celebrates Arab art and culture through theatre\, poetry\, dance and music. The School of Languages and Literatures is hosting Arabian Night 2019 featuring artists from Syria\, Iraq\, Palestine and Lebanon. \n\nA creative space to learn and engage in artistic dialogue through poetry\, music\, dance and theatre.\nBridge differences and elevate human spirits through our common and shared language: poetry\, theatre\, music and dance.\nPromote social connectedness through the arts and help create rich and diverse communities.\nBuild a bridge between the University and the community\nEducate Canadians about Arabic language\, literature\, and arts\nFoster community spirit and support the Arab Canadian community\, especially the newcomers/refugees\nPromote mutual understanding between the Arab community and the community at large\nEngage students of Arabic in experiential learning experience\n\nMacKinnon Building\, Room 107 \nLearn more \nRegister to attend – seating is limited
