DESCRIPTION:The Rural Symposium is an opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policy makers\, policy analysts\, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture\, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilization and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph\, researchers\, and OMAFRA . \nThe 2019 Rural Symposium will take place on March 13\, 2019 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Conference Centre at 1 Stone Road in Guelph. \nThe Rural Symposium\, co-hosted by SEDRD and OMAFRA\, is an opportunity for graduate students to share their research with policy makers\, local practitioners\, and rural organizations. The Rural Symposium facilitates knowledge sharing\, networking\, and an opportunity for our students to gain experience in knowledge mobilization.
