Merkley is a Senior Policy Advisor at Ontario Digital Service and an open innovation practitioner with several years’ experience working with local\, national and global organizations. Formerly a Public Lead for Creative Commons Canada and Creative Commons South Africa\, she has launched numerous community-building projects\, including UnCommon Women and Open Textbooks for Africa\, and is an expert in all things Open.
