SUMMARY:Growing Woody Plants from Seed Workshop
DESCRIPTION:  \nDiversity is the emphasis of this full-day course. Grow your own native trees and shrubs. Characteristic seeds for the workshop will be collected while touring part of The Arboretum. We will carry out the techniques for cleaning\, treating and sowing seeds and how to protect them as seeds and young plants. A tour of The Arboretum’s native plant nursery will help you set up your own project. \nRegister online \nPresenter: Arboretum horticulturist Sean Fox \nEarly Bird Fee:  $75 per person by Sept. 10. \nRegular Fee: $85 per person. \nNote: If we don’t have enough registrations by the early bird deadline the course may be cancelled. Maximum 16 adults.
