DESCRIPTION:“Accessing Innovation: Addressing Opportunities for Young\, Female Farmers Globally” is part of the Arrell Food Summit. \nAround the world\, women make up half of all farmers\, but they are marginalized in farm ownership\, decision making and access to life-changing agricultural technology. \nThis session\, part of the Arrell Food Summit\, explores new ideas and opportunities for how to enhance visibility of young female farmers around the world and tap the enormous potential they offer for a sustainable farming future. Panelists Aprilia Ambarwati and Charina Chazali from AKATIGA Center of Social Analysis\, Pan Lu of China Agricultural University\, Sudha Narayanan of Indira Gandhi Institute for Development Research\, and Brianne Besley from Beslea Farms Ltd.\, along with Sharada Srinivasan from the University of Guelph\, will share research and perspectives from across the globe. \n

DESCRIPTION:Learn how to decrease insomnia\, fall asleep (or back to sleep) more easily and get more energy from sleep using proven\, drug-free strategies.  This five-session program meets Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.  An online program is also available. \nThe fee is $20 for U of G students\, $25 for members of USW\, $50 for everyone else. \nUniversity Centre\, Room 335
