The University of Guelph community is mourning the death of Kevin Golding, who passed away on Jan. 31, 2025. Golding served the University as current chair of the Board of Trustees and was formerly the chair on the University of Guelph’s Board of Governors.  

A public memorial to celebrate Golding will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6 in Waasamowin (Atrium) at the Summerlee Science Complex at 11 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

Campus flags will be lowered to half-mast on Thursday, Feb. 6 in Golding’s honour.
